Admin Dashboard on Android TV

Server administrators can monitor active sessions, users, and server health directly from the TV interface.

Overview

The Admin Dashboard is available exclusively to users with server administrator privileges. Navigate to it via the Admin item (shield icon) at the bottom of the sidebar.

The Admin item is only visible when the logged-in account has admin rights on the connected Jellyfin server.

What the Admin Dashboard Shows

Active Sessions

A real-time list of all streams currently playing on your server:

Session Actions

Select a session to:

  • View full transcode details (codec, resolution, bitrate, reason for transcoding)
  • See subtitle and audio track information

Server Statistics

Overview metrics:

  • Total active sessions count
  • Total users
  • Libraries count
  • Total media items

Use the D-pad to navigate between sessions. The list refreshes automatically at a regular interval.

Requirements

  • The logged-in Jellyfin account must have Administrator role.
  • The Jellyfin server must be reachable.
