Login Screen
When you launch JellyWatch for Android TV for the first time, you land on the Login screen.
Standard Login
- Enter your Server URL (e.g.
https://jellyfin.yourdomain.com). - Enter your username and password.
- Press Connect.
Quick Login
Tap Quick Login to use a QR code or short code scanned from another JellyWatch session - useful when typing a password with a TV remote is inconvenient.
Navigating the Login Screen with a Remote
- Use the D-pad (up / down / left / right) to move between fields.
- Press Select / OK to activate a focused field or button.
- The on-screen keyboard appears automatically when a text field is focused.
Dual URL Mode
JellyWatch for Android TV supports dual URL mode (local + external) exactly like the mobile app. Configure it from Settings → Servers after your first login.
Multiple Accounts
You can add multiple Jellyfin accounts (different servers or different users on the same server). Switch accounts from the avatar menu in the sidebar.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |

| Cannot reach server | Verify the URL in a browser on another device |
| SSL error | Enable self-signed certificate support in Settings → Servers |
| Login fails | Check username/password; verify API access is not restricted |
| Slow keyboard input | Use Quick Login or a Bluetooth keyboard |
