Overview
JellyWatch for Android TV supports multiple accounts. Each account can be a different user on the same server, or a user on a completely different Jellyfin server.
This is ideal for households where multiple people use the same TV - each person can have their own account with their own watch history, Continue Watching row, and preferences.
Adding an Account
- Navigate to the avatar at the top of the sidebar and press Select.
- The Account Picker screen opens showing all saved accounts.
- Press Add Account and enter the server URL and credentials for the new account.
Switching Accounts
- Navigate to the avatar in the sidebar (or Settings → Account → Switch Account).
- The Account Picker shows all saved accounts with avatar and username.
- Select any account to switch - the app reloads with that account's data instantly.
Per-Account Preferences
Each account has its own:
- Active server selection
- Playback preferences
- Watch history (managed by Jellyfin server-side)
Removing an Account
In the Account Picker, select an account and choose Remove to delete it from the app. This does not delete the account from the Jellyfin server.
Family Use Case

Each person selects their account from the Account Picker when they sit down to watch.
