Accessing Search
Press D-pad Left from any screen to open the sidebar, then navigate to the Search icon at the top and press Select.
Alternatively, some remotes have a dedicated Search / Microphone button that opens the Android TV global search - JellyWatch is registered as a searchable app and results will include your library content.
Using the Search Screen
- The on-screen keyboard (or connected Bluetooth keyboard) appears automatically.
- Type your query - results update in real time as you type.
- Navigate the results grid with the D-pad.
- Press Select on any result to open its detail screen.
What Is Searched
Search covers your entire Jellyfin library:
- Movies
- TV Series and Episodes
- Music (artists, albums, tracks)
- Books
- People (cast and crew)
- Collections
Tips
- Use a Bluetooth keyboard or your phone as a remote (Google TV remote app, Android TV remote) for faster typing.
- The voice search button on compatible remotes triggers Android TV's built-in voice input, which feeds into JellyWatch search results.
